Policies & Disclaimer
The following outlines the scope of services provided by Parker Visual Notary Services, along with important information about what this service does and does not include.
Scope of Services
Parker Visual Notary Services provides appointment-based mobile notary and administrative document support services. All notarial acts are performed by a commissioned Massachusetts Notary Public in an individual capacity. Parker Visual LLC is the administrative services entity through which appointments are offered and managed — it does not itself perform notarial acts.
No Legal Advice
Parker Visual Notary Services does not provide legal advice of any kind. Nothing on this website, and nothing communicated in connection with scheduling or conducting an appointment, constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. Clients with legal questions regarding their documents are strongly encouraged to consult a licensed Massachusetts attorney.
No Document Preparation
This service does not prepare, draft, review, or advise on legal documents. The Pre-Appointment Document Readiness Check is a procedural, administrative service only — it is not a legal review and does not substitute for legal advice. Parker Visual Notary Services does not advise on which notarial act is required for any particular document or situation.
Notarial Compliance
Notarial services are provided in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 222 and applicable regulations of the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth. A notary journal is maintained as required by law. All notarial acts require the physical presence of the signer and valid, government-issued photo identification. Massachusetts currently requires in-person notarization; Remote Online Notarization (RON) is not currently offered.
Identification Requirements
All signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms include a current driver's license, state-issued identification card, or valid passport. Inability to present acceptable identification may result in the notarial act not being performed and the appointment fee being assessed regardless.
Signer Awareness and Voluntariness
Massachusetts law requires that signers be fully aware and acting voluntarily at the time of a notarial act. Parker Visual Notary Services reserves the right to decline or postpone a notarization if there is any reason to believe that a signer is acting under duress, lacks awareness, or cannot act freely. No legal determination of capacity is made by the notary. Families or caregivers with concerns about signer capacity should consult appropriate medical and legal professionals before scheduling.
Confidentiality
Information shared in connection with appointments — including documents and personal contact information — is handled with care and discretion. Client information is not shared with third parties except as required by law. Documents are not retained beyond the immediate needs of the appointment. The notary journal is maintained as required by Massachusetts law.
Service Availability
Appointment availability is not guaranteed. Submission of a request form does not constitute a confirmed appointment. Rush and same-day appointments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Parker Visual Notary Services reserves the right to decline appointments at its discretion.
Geographic Scope
Services are primarily provided within Boston and Brookline. Extended service is available in surrounding Greater Boston communities subject to travel fees and scheduling. Geographic coverage is subject to change without notice.
Fees and Payment
All fees are for notarial and administrative services as described on the Fees page. No fee is charged for legal advice, document preparation, or legal representation, as none of these are provided. Final fees are confirmed at the time of appointment confirmation. Fees are subject to change.
Website Disclaimer

While we endeavor to keep information accurate and current, we make no guarantee of completeness or accuracy. Massachusetts notary law is subject to change; clients are encouraged to verify current requirements with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth or a licensed attorney.
